and research has been put online. This site conducts searches through Ancestral File (one
of the world's largest collections of pedigrees and family group records with over 35
million records), International Genealogical Index (the world's largest collection of
birth, christening, and marriage information with over 300 million records), Pedigree
Resource File (a search repository of pedigrees compiled from submissions to the Family
Search Internet Genealogy Service) and other genealogical resources. One of the best
places to conduct your ancestral search.

history data online. Ancestry.com not only offers search assistance but message boards,
software and books as well. Membership to Ancestry.com does come with an annual price tag
of at least $59.95. There are however some features that are free.
