Assist people in finding quickly the best websites on the Internet.  We should all be able to “DART” around the web with minimal effort and find the finest information available.

Deliver the most current and highest rated websites available on the Internet.

Webwaders.com, Inc., owns Dartonline.com.  Our staff  “wades” through the Internet to find quality websites.   Search engines, newspapers, periodicals, online directories and tradeshows are some of the sources we use to discover quality sites.  Once the sites are discovered, they are reviewed and critiqued using an evaluation-rating model.  Several criteria have been selected and our experienced webwader™ editors answer a number of objective questions for each of these criteria.  The questions are weighted and an overall score is recorded and displayed within the Dartonline Directory.

How The Directory Works

When a person selects a category within the Dartonline Directory, we deliver up the highest rated sites that have been recently reviewed.  Freshness and Quality are both fundamental elements to our service.  Also, we want to rate sites without any interference from the website's author/owner and as a result, we have developed a list of 30+ objectively designed questions that cover several criteria.  These criteria are what most experts feel are the most important in determining the quality of websites.  Click here for a sample of some of the criteria and questions.  The questions are weighted and the overall score is displayed to the web user on a scale of 0-5, with 5 being a perfect score.

Our Webwaders™ seek out the best sites and then review, score, and list these sites in the Dartonline Directory.  An owner of a website may pay a fee to have our Webwader™ experts review and re-rate their site quarterly, semi-annually or annually.  These customers’ websites will have a higher results listing position in our “Valuable Links” pages because of the freshness of their website ratings.  The currentness of our proprietary rating is as fundamental to the value of our service as the rating itself.

Website Review Fees
The complete rating, scoring, and listing procedures are performed quarterly, semi-annually or annual depending on the subscription fee contract.  Several e-commerce questions are also addressed for commercial sites; consequently, extra fees apply.

Key Word Fees

You must subscribe to the Review services to be allowed to purchase Key Words.  A basic key word search will first deliver to a user the websites that are reviewed sites and have purchased the key word being searched.  Those sites that have purchased key words will be listed as follows:  the highest rated sites that have subscribed first to quarterly reviews, then semi-annually reviews, and finally annually reviews.  This means that a person that has subscribed to an annual review AND has purchased key words, will have his site listed AFTER the sites that have bought the same key word(s) but have subscribed to the quarterly or semi-annual review services.  This encourages currentness of site reviews.  The highest rated non-subscription sites with the key word(s) will then be listed.

Text Ad Fees
Valuable Links Page Positions.  The right side of each delivered "Valuable Links" page in the Dartonline Directory will have Text Ad spaces that can be purchased on an annual basis.  The highest position on the page demands the higher fee per the table below.  Upon ordering a text ad space(s), you will automatically know which position(s) are available.  Some of the positions may appear to be taken; however, these positions may represent exchange ad programs and affiliate advertising.  Text Ad Subscription advertising will always supercede the text ad exchange programs and affiliate advertising.  When registering, you will know which subscription text ad positions are available.  You can subscribe to multiple text ads.
Bonus Positions.  For an extra fee, your Text Ad will appear in the members' monthly emails, Editor's Choice email, AND search results within the Dartonline Directory.
